From the moment your newborn baby arrives, life is filled with love and laughter, tears and sadness, a million questions, interrupted toilet trips, sleepless nights, the latest Disney movie on repeat, snuggles and “I love you Mum’s.” ⁣

This is one of my favourite images – it tells it’s own story.

It was taken just moments after Hannah gave birth to the little baby boy in her arms. Hannah had invited me along to capture the final moments of her pregnancy before she was taken to theatre at North Park Maternity Hospital for her caesarean, and the moment her older daughter met her new baby brother.

Just looking at this photo immediately transports me back to the moment big sister Billie, climbed up beside her Mum and started rubbing Hannah’s ‘itchy’ face to help comfort her.

I am so grateful to Hannah for inviting me to be there to capture and witness Noah’s first moments.
