Will she or won’t she get to see her first game of footie (AFL) tomorrow night??⁣

As the coronavirus continues to dominate news channels and social media newsfeeds, Channel 9 would have you believe all of Melbourne is waiting to find out if the 2020 AFL season will begin tomorrow night or not, running it as their lead story on tonight’s 6 pm news.

To Ed and his newborn baby daughter Alice AFL is their world – Dad plays for Carlton FC, and if the league opener against Richmond Tigers tomorrow night, Alice will get to see Dad play her first-ever footie game….if she can stay awake that is!!

With 2020 already proving it will be the year we never forget as the year the world pushed paused – that’s gotta be a pretty awesome feeling for Ed and his family!
